What Is a CSCS Card?
The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card proves that you have the qualifications and training needed to work on a construction site. Most principal contractors require all workers to hold a valid CSCS card before they can access site.

The Test
The CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test
Before applying for most CSCS cards, you must pass the CITB HS&E test. The test is taken at an approved test centre and covers health, safety and environmental topics relevant to your role.
